Embedded Overview

The administration of devices that run Embedded products is accomplished by setting Embedded configurations in Workflow

Configuration options and methods will not be identical across different manufacturers. Refer to the specific Embedded installation and configuration instructions for specific manufacturers.

 

Copier Configuration vs Embedded Profiles

A Copier Configuration entry allows you to administer a single embedded entry.

Embedded Profiles allow you to manage the configuration properties and pricing for multiple devices, with a single profile. Once an Embedded Profile is created, new Copier entries can be created quickly, which inherit the properties (Authentication, Prompts, etc.) set in the Profile.

Changes to an Embedded Profile will affect all Copiers using that profile.
