Embedded for Sharp Overview

Users installing Embedded for Sharp must have Administrator rights.

Prerequisites

  • Workflow 7.1.x or newer must be installed. See WorkflowSystem Requirements.
  • Device Administration password must be set

  • Sharp OSA5, OSA4, or OSA3.5 enabled device with an External Accounting Module (MX-AMX3)

 

Installation workflow

  1. Confirm Prerequisites (above)
  2. Install the Embedded for Sharp installation package to the server
  3. Configure Embedded for Sharp in Workflow
  4. Configure Secure Release (optional)
  5. Configure the Sharp MFP
  6. Configure Proximity or Swipe
