If issues arise when unregistering a device, the user may need to unlock the functions manually to continue using the device.

SNMP is used to configure some of the settings on the device. If a default community of public is not being used in the Xerox configuration file, the embedded.config file will need to be manually updated to define the alternate community. Multiple SNMP communities are not supported in the configuration file, therefore all devices will need to be configured the same, otherwise some manual configuration will need to be performed.
