Task Configuration

In some situations (i.e. storage requirements), you may prefer to change the default log locations and working/data directories that will be used within Schedule Tasks to Repeat.

  1. Select Administration from the ribbon.
  2. Select SettingsSystem.
  3. In the Task Configuration section, change one or more of the following options.
    • Event log name: By default, all events are logged to these files located within the specified Data Directory. Each task creates its own event or error log within the specified directory.
    • Working Directory: The location of the temporary files created while Workflow is running tasks.
    • Error log name: By default, all errors are logged to this file located within the specified Data Directory.  
    • Data Directory: The location of logs and any files generated by the tasks.
